ENERGY in BUILDINGS 2013

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The future of our societies depends on the balanced management of their resources. The quality of the environment we live in is of paramount importance. Hence, the environmental impact of building engineering, landscape design and building waste management must be considered a top priority for us all.

Energy, which affects these concepts, is at the heart of the process. Its management, whether in an urban, suburban, agricultural or industrial environment, requires a collective effort and commitment from all involved disciplines.

In order for any energy building design to succeed, targets set during planning must be based on the rules and principles of sustainable development. Such long-term and in-depth projects require the implementation of efficient and easy to use tools in order to ensure the coordination of all sectors with the same objectives.
